n.u.f.a.n. ensemble  transitions into festival company

The re-organization/redefinition of the n.u.f.a.n. ensemble is based on playing to the strengths we have developed over the five-plus years we have been together.

We have come to learn that we are company who does festivals and we think we do them pretty well. We decided to focus on that for a year or so and see if we can’t become the pre-eminent festival company working and playing in Chicago.

You will find on our “shows” page the festivals and their dates.

For writers you will find the necessary submission guidelines and dates on our “submissions” page.

The idea of festivals plays into two of our main points of focus; interacting with other remerging companies and creating as many opportunities for Chicago theater artists as we can reach.

We are always on the look out for new directors – actors* – technicians to work and play with.

Each year we hope to develop the festivals that worked and replace the ones that don’t with new ideas.

All of the festivals will be performed off-night so as to not compete with other companies and they will all be performed at the Prop Theater on Elston.

We hope to see you out there. We hope to work with you at some point. If you have any questions – the best way to reach us is info@nufanensemble.com.

Don’t forget about our reading series and other free and cheap theater including n.u.f.a.n. nights at the Holiday Club.

Thank you

n.u.f.a.n. ensemble
